My own favourite (Yes, I am a cacao lover)…
¾ glass almond milk
1 peeled banana
1 teaspoon maca powder
1 teaspoon cacao powder
1 teaspoon unsalted, organic and no sugar added peanut-butter
1 scoop of chocolate flavoured protein of your choice
Put all the ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth!
I have used Rude Health Organic Almond Milk. As for the maca powder, I love the smell and the flavour of Naturya Organic Maca Powder. Be cautious when choosing your peanut butter, as most come with extra salt and sugar and you don’t want that. My choice of peanut butter is the Meridian natural crunchy peanut butter (no added salt). Another very important note that I want to make is that you should choose cacao and not cocoa. I have used Bioglan Superfoods Organic Cacao Powder. All mentioned ingredients can be found at your nearest Holland and Barrett Store!
A very filling smoothie! I suggest that you have this in the morning. Get those good fats, protein and good sugar in your body and satisfy your chocolate craving! This satisfying meal will keep you from snacking little cheat snacks throughout the day!
